Just Global is proud to recognize our esteemed General Counsel, Bhakti Shivarekar, for her latest accomplishments with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Bhakti Shivarekar, General Counsel

Bhakti Shivarekar has earned the ANSI-accredited designation of Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) through the IAPP, further strengthening Just Global’s commitment to data privacy for consumers around the world.

The CIPP/E is the first professional credential specific to European data protection professionals that is part of a comprehensive, principles-based framework and knowledge base in information privacy. CIPM is the first and only certification in privacy program management, developed in response to overwhelming demand to collect and collate common practices for managing privacy operations globally.

Through these certifications, Bhakti has demonstrated an understanding of the European data protection laws, privacy program governance and the skills necessary to establish, maintain and manage data compliance across all stages of operations. Bhakti joins the ranks of professionals worldwide who currently hold one or more IAPP certifications.

Legal experts and privacy professionals like Bhakti Shivarekar are the arbiters of trust in today’s data-driven global economy. She helps Just Global and our clients manage rapidly evolving privacy threats and mitigate the potential loss and misuse of information assets.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource. Founded in 2000, the IAPP is a not-for-profit organization that helps define, support and improve the privacy profession globally.
