Meet Anthony Lopez, Media Platforms Manager.

What is your role at Just Media?
I help manage the programmatic practice at Just Media with day-to-day campaign management and process and partner integrations. I love being able to help educate internal teams and clients on programmatic best practices. Our team is always looking to evolve and elevate our programmatic strategy to deliver optimal performance for our clients. I like to believe I also help instill a fun and positive atmosphere amongst our programmatic team.
What do you enjoy the most about working in programmatic?
The programmatic landscape is ever changing. Creative and innovative solutions are needed to rise to the challenges of modern marketing. Programmatic is attempting to redefine how we approach media at scale with the individual in mind. It’s an exciting landscape that forces you to think quickly, adapt and grow. It’s truly an area where those who want to learn and grow will thrive. Also, there are so many great programmatic memes that make what we do fun.
What have you learned & how have you grown at Just Media?
Oh wow, where to start!? Just Media is a group of bright and creative individuals who love to share their thoughts, challenge the status quo and question the norm. I’ve learned how to be inquisitive and have grown to be someone who is confident in what they bring to the table. Just Media empowers you to be the best version of yourself.
What does it take to be successful at Just Media?
Passion, hard work, and a team mentality. If you want to succeed and help others succeed, this is the perfect place for you.
What motivates you to finish a complex project?
I would have to say progress. Progress teaches you that there is no such thing as an unsolvable problem. You just haven’t thought of all the possibilities, yet 😉.
What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?
Live music! I love going to shows and listening to some of my many favorite artists and musicians. We are so blessed to have so many amazing music venues and talented artist to grace us in the Bay Area.
What inspires you at Just Media?
My peers. If you ever get the privilege to work with any of the talented and passionate people at Just Media, you’ll know that you are in an environment that cultivates inspiration.
What’s your go-to lunch spot around the Emeryville office?
Best Coast Burritos! Their burrito bowls are affordable, and you can make them relatively healthy! If you ever go, try to find me among the pictures on their wall!
What has been your favorite agency event?
Just Media’s retreats have always been the talk of the town and I was fortunate enough to have experienced one! Truly a wonderful bonding experience!
Finally, what advice would you give to someone who is just getting their career started in digital marketing?
Do your homework and get organized as there are many moving parts with programmatic. Never be afraid to ask questions.
