Blair’s biggest achievements in the last 12 months
- The development and implementation of a new business process
- Significantly improving win rates and leading the team behind the agency’s largest ever new business win
- Further establishing long-term pipeline and increasing it’s representation of net-new revenue
How did you get into B2B marketing? Was it by accident or on purpose?
If you live in Austin, after college B2B marketing is basically the main option. So, I kind of fell into it. My father was always in technology, and my brother is in enterprise tech sales, so I guess you could say it’s also in the family.
What’s been your favorite job (apart from this one ofc)?
I used to do a lot of big commercial production. I love being on a set and the chaos that ensues when managing a large-scale production.
Who do you find most inspiring, whether in the marketing world or not?
Honestly, my co-workers inspire me everyday.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Just Global?
The people – a job is a job, but a job is a career when you work with people that inspire and motivate you.
What is the secret to award-winning business development?
Relationships. I don’t sell to my clients, I build trust. I read clients and where they are, I listen for what they’re looking for, and I want to meet them there. I want to be the partner that can help them. Revenue isn’t my focus. Honesty and real conversation lead to building relationships which ultimately leads to growth, for both the client and Just Global.
What does winning this award mean to you?
Winning the Gold Titan Award is an incredible honor. New business is so challenging, you’re constantly working on the next thing – I’m passionate about what I do and proud of the work we’ve done. For me, this award is a testament to the hard work and perseverance of not just myself, but of the entire team.
What do you think are some of the most exciting things happening in the industry right now?
I don’t know if you’ve heard about this AI thing, but apparently, it’s a big deal.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
A nice glass of wine, a patio, and good conversation with my friends are the best part of my week.
