Overview

In 2024, the Australian Government unveiled its Cyber Security Strategy to position the nation as a global cybersecurity leader by 2030. This presented a strategic opportunity to develop a campaign that would educate and engage federal and state government agencies on how Palo Alto Networks can support this national objective.

Execution

The campaign sought to reframe cybersecurity from a purely technical issue into a whole-of-nation priority, with a strong emphasis on enhancing protections for both civilians and industry. It showcased how Palo Alto Networks’ solutions work behind the scenes to safeguard Australia’s digital frontiers — defending the people, places, and things that matter most to Australians.

How it came to life

The creative was brought to life through a simple visual hook: a bespoke 3D representation of Australia as a microchip on a motherboard, reinforcing the idea that the nation’s digital future relies on resilient cybersecurity foundations. Paired with the message, “At Palo Alto Networks, our business is cybersecurity — our calling is protecting our digital way of life.” The campaign featured three hero video spots supported by a suite of static ads, each tailored to moments where Palo Alto Networks works quietly in the background to defend Australians. All assets ultimately drove audiences to a dedicated campaign landing page to learn more.
