DDS previously worked as a consultant with Just Global for a few years and has now joined full-time as Chief People Officer.

They have notched up over 25 years of working in small, medium, and large corporations and have held a range of senior, executive, and C-Suite level roles across a host of sectors and companies, such as Marks & Spencer Plc, Eurostar International, Crossrail Ltd, Sony Music Entertainment, Essence Global [part of WPP], and now – very proudly – Just Global.  

Between 2020 and 2022, they worked as both a clinician and the Board President at Pacific Center for Human Growth in Berkeley, America’s second oldest community mental health clinic serving the needs of the LGBTQIA2+ community. They are also a member of the advisory board at WE Global Studios, a full-stack Innovation Studio and digital DIY Platform that powers the success of women entrepreneurs around the world. 

Each of their professional roles has allowed them to work across all continents and to develop the awareness and empathy required to work successfully with people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds. 

DDS loves to learn and believes it’s necessary to keep growing personally and professionally. They are certified as an Executive Coach by both the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring.  

They are currently a licensed mental health clinician in the state of Connecticut, as well as a Reiki Master and Teacher, a Narrative Enneagram practitioner, and certified as a crystal bowl sound healer. In 2021 they graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies with an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology and recently embarked on a new journey of personal and professional growth when they began a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality. 

In 2022 they published their first book, ‘You Can Be Yourself Here: your pocket guide to creating inclusive workplaces using the psychology of belonging’ which quickly became a #1 bestseller. Their second book, ‘Leadership is a Behavior Not a Title: your pocket guide to being a leader worth following’ is set to be published in September 2022. DDS recently realized a dream when the Harvard Business Review published an article they wrote about self-acceptance. 

DDS lives in the US with their husband, Davis, and their two Main Coon cats, Harper and Hemingway. After 8 years of living in the Bay Area, DDS and their family moved to Connecticut where you’ll find them taking great joy in the transitions of the seasons. DDS loves losing themself in repeats of The Voice, American Idol, and X-Factor on YouTube or keeping up with the Ru Paul’s Drag Race seasons that seem to now run concurrently around the world.
