Stumbled across this gem of a report by Digiday recently and couldn’t NOT share it. Thank you Digiday!
It’s hard to believe that we are already in the year 2016, but what’s even harder to believe is that Native Advertising has been around for 3 years already – Yes, 3 YEARS! It’s no secret that Native Advertising still baffles some people (rightly so), and this guide to Native Advertising is extremely helpful when trying to navigate through all the advertising jargon and buzzwords out there. I encourage you to share this with clients, friends and colleagues alike, as everyone can benefit from this. After all, Native Advertising is “The New Normal” according to the report.
Here is a little snippet of what you will find in the report:
Biggest changes identified in native advertising over the last year: Volume, Creativity and the Growth of Competing Platforms.

Flash forward to today and I think it is safe to say that Native Advertising isn’t going anywhere. For Just Media, Native Advertising is a component of almost every media plan (even if it’s just a test), as it has become a vital part of the overall media landscape, and a successful outlet for brands trying to establish their voice.
Native Advertising and Content Marketing go hand in hand, and ALL our clients are creating content in one form or another (Blogs, Case Studies, Whitepapers, Social Posts, etc…). The simple repurposing of existing content can do wonders in the native space. One thing we know is there is never a shortage of content out there if you look hard enough, and it would be a shame not to capitalize on all the native outlets & offerings to push that content out to users.
Happy Marketing Folks!
