Just Dream: One Year of Turning Teammate Dreams Into Reality

At Just Global, we believe that creativity thrives when people feel connected, inspired, and supported. That belief took flight last year with the launch of Just Dream—a quarterly workplace community program designed to empower our teammates to bring their dreams to life.

Each quarter, we provide up to $5,000 USD and two extra PTO days to help fund unforgettable journeys—whether that’s exploring a sacred destination, learning a new skill, or embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. These micro-moments of joy and connection enrich our culture and fuel the creativity that drives our success.

Now, with one incredible year behind us, we’re celebrating the impact of Just Dream and the courageous, creative humans who dared to dream big.

Jillian Ball, Casey Soberanis and Ashley Crabbs — A Healing Escape to Sedona

Sedona became a sacred space of renewal for Jillian, Ashley, and Casey. With its vibrant red rock landscape and spiritual energy, it was the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and reconnect after years of remote collaboration. The trio participated in ceremonial walks through ancient medicine wheels, connected deeply with rescued wolves, and embraced moments of stillness together. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a shared journey back to self, and to each other.

  • Why this dream? “We wanted to reconnect after years of working remotely, and Sedona was the perfect place to do that with intention,” said Jillian.
  • The impact: “This trip made me more grounded and connected at work,” said Ashley. “I’m more intentional with time and presence.”
  • Surprise moments? “A snow squall during a hike!” said Ashley. “And a powerful encounter with a wolf at a sanctuary,” added Casey. “It was emotional in ways I didn’t expect.”

“Walking the medicine wheels at the sanctuary awakened something ancient in me. I returned with my soul refilled.” – Jillian

Melissa Swope and Vanessa Vanderploeg — Diving for a Purpose in Maui

Melissa and Vanessa took their dream underwater (literally) on a scuba diving journey to Maui. They both earned their diving certification and traveled to Maui to participate in Dive Against Debris, a conservation initiative that removes ocean waste and raises awareness about marine protection. They described the experience as both humbling and empowering: a way to reconnect with their passion for the ocean while taking meaningful action. The program gave them the space to break routine and feel fully alive. “I came up from the dive a different person,” shared Melissa, reflecting on how it shifted her daily mindfulness and pride in the work she brings to her team.

  • Why this dream? “We both love the ocean. Combining diving with environmental impact made this meaningful for us on a deeper level.”
  • The shift: “I’ve been more mindful and proactive about reducing waste in my daily life and team projects.” said Melissa.
  • Their advice to future dreamers: “Don’t be afraid to go for it. The things that bring you joy are exactly what this program is here for.” shared Vanessa.

“The underwater world is a place of peace, beauty, and responsibility. I came up from the dive a different person.” – Melissa

Kat VanBiene — A Tribute on Two Wheels

For Kat, Just Dream became a way to honor the memory of someone she loved deeply. She traveled to Salzburg, Austria, to take part in a Sound of Music bike tour as a tribute to her late father, whose favorite film was The Sound of Music. The journey was both nostalgic and healing, filled with moments that reminded her of their connection and the lasting impact of shared joy.

The experience gave her the space to reflect, recharge, and carry a sense of peace back into her life and work. It was a dream grounded in remembrance and a powerful reminder of how honoring the past can bring clarity to the present.

  • Why it mattered: Kat’s dream was a tribute to her late father, inspired by his favorite film, The Sound of Music, and the memories they shared around it.

  • Biggest impact: The experience gave her space to reflect and reconnect with what matters most, helping her return to work grounded and renewed.

  • Surprise moment: Exploring the same hills and streets seen in the film brought a wave of peace and connection she didn’t expect—but deeply needed

“The Sound of Music was my dad’s favorite. Biking through Salzburg was a full-circle memory I’ll never forget.” – Kat

Pamela Wilcoxson, Elizabeth Moore, Bethany Lepley and Jessie Goff  — A Celebration of Life and the People Who Carried Her

For Pamela, Elizabeth, Bethany, and Jessie, their Just Dream experience was about more than travel. It was a deeply meaningful celebration of life, healing, and friendship. Over the course of Pamela’s battle with stage 3 breast cancer, the four teammates built a powerful bond through daily encouragement, thoughtful care packages, and unwavering emotional support. All of this happened virtually, without ever having met in person.

When they were selected for Just Dream, they chose to travel together to Cancun—not only to celebrate Pamela being cancer-free, but also to meet in person for the very first time.

  • Why it mattered: This dream was about more than a milestone. It was a long-awaited chance for four teammates to meet in person after forming a powerful bond through Pamela’s cancer journey.

  • Biggest impact: Being together in Cancun deepened their connection beyond the screen. What began as remote support became a lasting, real-life friendship.

  • Surprise moment: Despite never meeting in person before, Pamela and her teammates instantly clicked. “It felt like we had known each other forever,” shared Pamela.

“Winning felt surreal. It was incredible to meet the people who helped me push through chemo and surgery. We connected as though we’d known each other forever.” – Pamela

The Road Ahead

What makes Just Dream so powerful isn’t just the destinations or the activities, it’s the stories of belonging, healing, and transformation. Across oceans and time zones, these journeys have brought our teammates closer to themselves, each other, and the world around them. They returned with renewed energy, fresh creativity, and a deeper connection to our shared values. Dreaming isn’t just encouraged here, it’s part of the job.
