As Group Creative Director at Just Global, Tom Parrette is responsible for overseeing creative strategy and development, with a focus on verbal branding, for the company’s US-based creative team.

His experience ranges from brand strategy, including positioning and naming, to multi-channel campaigns for a number of well-known B2C and B2B brands. He also led copy and content in-house for major consumer brands including Expedia and Williams-Sonoma.

Tom believes all brands have distinct essences that are shaped by the teams who bring them to life. “The people, not the products, are the ones who live and breathe the brand every day. They’re the natural stewards of how the brand expresses itself. They have to believe in what we make.”

Tom’s work on Cooking Matters, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger, was recognized by the Obama administration. He was also part of the team that received a Silver Clio for branding work done in partnership with DuPont’s sustainability practice.

His superpower is listening to what people don’t say.

Tom is a trained classical pianist and a native of Washington, DC.
