James Harper

James Harper is the leader of our ever-growing Search department where as Director of Search he oversees a team of specialists across offices and integrates SEM and SEO campaigns for dozens of brands.

His digital marketing expertise, technical skills, and leadership qualities are evident in every project from brand strategy and goal setting to implementation and optimization. He’s worked with some of the world’s most innovative brands such as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Mozilla, Box, and F5 Technologies. Through advanced understandings of price-per-click, web design, and data science he maximizes advertising investments for our clients.

Prior to joining Just Global, James founded his own consultancy, PAPERBOY Marketing, where he advised an array of clients on digital marketing strategies. His entrepreneurial spirit persists as James develops a greater focus on new business development for the agency and team building and training within his department.

If you’re lucky enough to work with James, then you know this savvy does not stop with digital marketing – he knows how to fix anything, the secrets to most video games, and can chat sports with you all day. He’s also active in his community in North Carolina as a volunteer at the local library, GreenWorks environmental educational, and a former ambassador for the East Bay Park District during his time in California.
