Speaker Bios.

John Gallant

John Gallant brings over 40 years of editorial and technology experience to his role as Enterprise Consulting Director for Foundry. In this position, he collaborates with key partners to create content that connects enterprise buyers and sellers, fostering awareness and brand affinity. He also leads the CIO Think Tank program, uniting senior IT leaders, Foundry journalists, IDC analysts, and top tech vendors to shape the future of emerging technologies. Additionally, John serves as the CIO brand strategist for Foundry.

Previously, John was Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer of IDG Communications US, leading the CIO, CSO, Computerworld, InfoWorld, Macworld, Network World, PCWorld, and TechHive brands. He provided career-enhancing content for IT leaders and spearheaded IDG’s social media strategy and Insider program. Under his leadership, IDG’s journalists received numerous awards for editorial excellence.

As a founder of Network World, John was CEO and editorial director, guiding content and business development for print, online, and events. He is a frequent speaker and moderator, known for his CIO and CEO Interview Series articles.

In 2010, John was inducted into the Media Industry Newsletter (min) Editorial and Design Hall of Fame. He is an Executive Fellow of the Digital Strategies Roundtable at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Chair Emeritus of the Boston College Technology and Entrepreneurship Council. John also serves as Vice Chairperson of the board for Dream Big, a nonprofit supporting underprivileged girls through sports.

Alison Watson

Alison Watson is the Executive Vice President of Global Media at Just Global, where she leads a team in developing innovative media strategies and plans for some of the world’s leading technology companies.

With a degree in Advertising, Alison discovered her passion for media and its measurable impact on organizational performance early in her career. Specializing in B2B Technology and focusing on data-driven results, Alison has built her career over 20 years to become a leading figure in the advertising and media industry.

Alison excels in developing and executing omnichannel media strategies and full-funnel brand-to-demand activations. Her insights and experience continue to drive significant revenue growth and optimize campaign performance for her clients. Known for her ability to build strong relationships and leverage data insights, Alison consistently leads high-performing teams to success.

Alison is a member of the leadership team at Just Global, serves on the AI Council, and has recently served as a member of Chief. She is passionate about championing women in tech and marketing.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and has a great appreciation for a good dad joke.
